Software constuction has its basis on software engineering concepts that include concepts developed in programming languages. To deny that fact is to believe that Electrical Engineering has nothing to do with Maxwell's Laws of Electrodynamics.
This is precisely why the Software Engineers continue to see SOA as fluff. If you cannot tie it down to something that makes sense, then its just plain fluff.
