Most Relevant Java Applet Ever?

Okay, I've got to admit, interest in building Java applets have been waning and been in a downtrend for several years. However, to my surprise, I found this applet "The Baby Name Wizard's NameVoyager" that simply blows my mind its it uncanning utility.
Here's the trend of the popularity of my surname through the last century:
I guess these charts prove me wrong. I've always felt that I had been given quite an ordinary and old-fashion first name. It's interesting to note its rise in popularity. On the other hand this increase may be due to the increase in the Hispanic population in the U.S.
Researching historic trends isn't why I think this is the most relevant applet ever. The main reason is that, a lot of children's names will be selected using this tool. Trust me, I'm using it to help select my next child's name. Surely, this is going to be extremely relevant to many. Decades from today, I wouldn't be surprised to hear a reponse to the question "where does your name come from?" to be "a java applet"!
