Apart the name....nothing is worth, you better try another one like Jetspeed, eXo or Liferay.

can you just list the features and advantages of using the jBoss portal.if it has any disadvantages also,plz let me know.

That's my problem with it. I don't need all the ejb overheads. And I don't believe any portal has to either.

The problem with the JBoss Portal is the documentation and user support. Very often questions go unanswered on the forum (probably because those in-the-know what you to pay for their services). For someone new to portals and CMS, the documentation is unhelpful.

One other comment: to create a HTML page there is a nice WYSIWYG editor, yet the portal management interface is severely lacking - possibly the wrong focus?
