Infoworld Says Manageability Missing In Java Desktop

Infoworld has posted a short analysis of the Java Desktop System. The gist of the analysis is "Though slick and stable, manageability still missing from Java Desktop System".

Now this is indeed an irritation. I had assumed I had full exclusive and irrevocable rights to the word "manageability". I mean, in a piece with roughly ten paragraphs, the word is evoked four times, that's almost once for every other paragraph. That's going a little beyond the allowable speed limit for that word.

Oh well! I guess this post gets filed into the category of another pointless post about manageability just like "73% of JavaOne Attendees need Manageability". Incidentally, did anyone notice that the new JDK 1.5 (aka "Tiger") release has a whole boat load of Manageability features?
