Not a bad list. But horribly written and the points are off the mark. Groovy "quick and dirty"? Groovy code is cleaner and more readable than Java by a long shot.

I'll have to agree with you with the style. Should have taken a bit more time on the wording.
Scripting is usually perceived to be 'quick and dirty'. That is, all you care about is making sure the happy path works and tend to ignore the edge cases. Not really a slam against Groovy.
