It's always bold to proclaim victory in a race that hasn't finished. I once proclaimed early victory for the Hibernate project and the OJB folks wanted me lynched from the highest tree top! Those were in the good 'ol days when thrashing open source projects weren't in vogue.

"Uncanny mastery" says it all. He writes some other interesting stuff as well when he's not deep in AOP. I've used his RPC mechanism to get myself a remote Hibernate in 20 lines of code.
