"Open Source in a Box" gets $11m in Funding

CNet reports that Sourcefire raised an $11 million second round of funding, the Columbia, Md.-based company has raised a total of nearly $18.6 million.
So what does SourceFire do? Well, if you've been keeping tabs on my blogs, then this wouldn't come as much of a surprise. They develop open source products for Security, then they bundle and sell them in hardware boxes. Here's their take on the Open Source Model. Here's a picture of what their product looks like:
I doubt the company could have raised the capital that it did by presenting itself as an Open Source software company.
