.net sucks!

.net has limited null support, and the newest release is surely to have numerous bugs associated with this fundamental state. The .NET architecture was designed by the most convoluted thinking person in all of MS. There are 4 levels of "abstraction" between a database table and a windows component (widget). When something goes wrong with adding rows to a datagrid bound to other components and a datatable, you'd better have Jesus Christ sitting next to you, because you'll need more than 1 prayer and miracle. My advice to CIOs and project managers thinking about deploying this in their organization is to outsource the development of the project as the learning curve and the inherent complexity will drive your budget through the roof. I'm not talking by a small factor but I'd estimate a 1.5, so if you have allocated $8 million for the project, the actual cost will be closer to $12 million by the time your developers create and debug framework related problems and short commings.
