Mr. Perez has been a professional Object-Oriented practitioner developing internet based systems since 1993. Mr. Perez has 17 years experience developing commercial software. For the most of his career he has primarily held technical leadership roles in Software development. He currently is a Technical Director at SemanticBits. More recently, He has been a consultant working for a variety of industries Frequentis (911 Dispatch), Fannie Mae (Credit Risk), ACS (Student Loans) and Nextel (Mobile Procurement). He was previously involved as the Principal Architect and Director for a converged mobile phone product for parental control. He was involved as head architect in a venture capital funded start-up company developing Optimization solutions for B2B exchanges. Mr. Perez has worked for IBM Corporation's Internet Division, Lotus Knowledge Management and the T.J. Watson Research. He has developed Catalog, Portal, Personalization, B2B and Marketplace software systems during his tenure at IBM. Prior to working at IBM, he was involved in telephony, project management and parallel computing software systems. Mr. Perez holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts. He holds several U.S. Patent involving Advance Catalog Management, Web Filtering and Mobile Parental control.
