Mr. Carlos E. Perez has been Object-Oriented practitioner developing internet based systems since 1993. He was the principal architect for a converged mobile phone product for parental control. He was involved in a venture capital funded start-up company developing Optimization solutions for businesses. Mr. Perez has also worked for IBM Corporation's Internet Division, Lotus Knowledge Management and the Institute of Advanced Commerce. He has developed Catalog, Portal, Personalization, B2B and Marketplace software systems during his tenure at IBM. Prior to working at IBM, he was involved in telephony, project management and parallel systems. Mr. Perez holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts. He holds a U.S. Patent involving Advance Catalog Management and has several Patents pending for Telecommunications.
